Paradise Point, and what actually goes wrong here
Paradise Point is the quieter end of the Broadwater — a village strip, a lot of waterfront housing, and a population that skews established rather than transient.
The work here is mostly planned rather than emergency. Waterfront houses have a lot of ways in: the front door, the garage, the side gate, the boat shed, the pontoon gate and usually a sliding door that opens straight onto the water. Most of them accumulated their locks one at a time over twenty years, which is why so many owners here are carrying an absurd number of keys.
Getting all of it onto one key is the single most requested job in this part of the Coast.

Front doors get thought about. The water side usually doesn't.
It's worth walking your own property from the pontoon back and asking what's actually locked — the gate, the shed, the sliding door, the door from the garage into the house. On a lot of waterfront homes the answer is that the expensive security is all facing the street.
Ian will do that walk with you at no charge and tell you what's worth doing, if anything. → /residential-locksmith/
You'll be dealing with Ian, not a call centre
Ian Pearson has been a locksmith on the Gold Coast for more than 30 years. Trade qualified, signed van, and the number on this page rings his phone.
That's worth saying plainly, because a lot of what advertises as a “ Paradise Point locksmith” is a dispatch centre somewhere else that sells your job on. That's where the cheap call-out that turns into a four-hundred-dollar invoice comes from — along with a drilled-out lock that never needed drilling.

Questions people in Paradise Point ask
How long until Ian gets to Paradise Point?
Depends where he is and what time it is. Ring and he'll tell you honestly — he won't promise you a number he can't hit.
Can you get the house, shed, gate and pontoon onto one key?
Usually yes, if the hardware's compatible. Anything that isn't gets swapped so it matches. Ian will tell you before he starts.
Is the free security check really free?
Yes, and if you don't need to spend anything he'll tell you that.
Do I have to prove the car or house is mine?
Yes, and you should want him to ask. Photo ID and something linking you to the property or the rego. Any locksmith who doesn't ask is one you shouldn't let near your locks.
